Asphalt Overlays

An asphalt overlay is the application of a layer of bituminous material to an existing surface.  Before an overlay is put down, we repair all areas that are potholed, excessively alligatored or have sub-grade damage to maximize the life of the overlay. We also clean the entire lot with hand blowers, wire brooms or commercial sweepers.
 

Benefits of Asphalt Overlays:

• Adds structural strength to the existing surface
• Can improve drainage in streets
• Can be less expensive than complete removal and replacement
• Re-establishes proper grade and smooth ride

Best Suited for: Residential Streets, Bike Paths, Collector Streets, Large and Small Parking Lots, Heavy Loads, Industrial/Commercial Streets and High Volume Roads.
